U12 Recreational – KIC AND Colonial Heights, Ashland, RSKC cross association U12 games: Reminder that on U12 games the goal keeper is not allowed to punt the ball. They must roll it to a player instead. This applies to any U12 cross association level AND Kickers in house level.
NPL & ECNL RL: These leagues are both under the parent “VPSL” league and follow the same rules. Pay careful attention to when you need to check player passes against the roster AND the required coaches credentials which you MUST check before a game. Violations need to be reported in your game report (ie. Not having a roster) BUT games still get played.
ADSL Heading: ADSL leagues can head the ball at the U12 divisions. Pay attention to the restart for an intentional heading when none is allowed.
NPL Game Cards for Scores: Traditionally NPL team managers have a game card for you to sign after the match verifying the score. They may not use them this year. You may instead be asked to write the score on the back of your game card and allow the managers to take a picture of it. They do not need to see what ever personal notes you make during a match on them, just on the back or on a blank sheet write the scores clearly for the Home & Away team, as well as any cautions or ejections and the player they went to, and let them take a picture in lieu of signing an actual score card. This is for your safety as well as theirs.
